Gem and Card Pack Promotions!

Hey you guys, there are some awesome events out today, and some not-so-amazing promotional packs in the shop to go with them. Here's my two cents.

Card Packs

I'm not even bothering with the description. Cashing cards is just ... no. Don't do it. 

Gem Packs

Lvl. 2 Gem Pack x2, Soul Crystal x10, Lvl. 1-3 Gem x1

Price: 79 Balens.

Lvl. 3 Gem Pack x1, Soul Crystal x20, Lvl. 1-5 Gem x1

Price: 129 Balens.

Lvl. 4 Gem Pack x1, Soul Crystal x50, Lvl. 1-5 Gem x5

Price: 499 Balens. 

These are very pricy for what they are -- really just a way for big cashers to complete gems they want to synthesize for the event. 

Limited Soul Crystal Pack

Soul Crystal x100

Lvl. 1-3 Gem Pack x10

Price: 199 Balens.

Though the limited soul crystal packs tend to be a lot better than the usual nonsense sales they put out, the gem event going on right now is unlimited and gives fantastic rewards. I think any and every semi-decent hoarder will make out well over the next few days, so cashing soul crystals isn't all that appealing.

Open Letter to Wartune to "Fix This Because I'm OCD"

As the self-appointed chair of Balenor's Bag and Vault Hygiene Committee I implore Wartune to address a grave travesty in their item design.

Clearly block gems either need to be technicolor or level 9 luck stones need to be completely purple. The matchy-ness of my bag organization is of the upmost importance to my sanity and the well-being of those I whine to about the injustices inflicted upon hoarders and obsessive compulsive organizers.

Given the prompt responses I receive for other such vital requests, I expect this issue will be addressed in the Maybe Never Patch which brings us:

• Homestead
• Those three other spots in our farms
• Block scrolls (seeing as every other stat gets a scroll ... GRAHRAHRAH)

DanteMugetsu's Success, Class Wars and Tips

Hey guys, Dante sent me some pictures so here I share with everyone since he is one of the top guys and I will add a few words / tips with each.

First up congrats to Dante for getting the Podium spot! A lot of people might not realize - the competition among the top players is fierce, and it is not so easy to be the top guy, both in the time invested into playing the game as well as cash investments. It's a battle of wits, determination and wallets :)

This picture I like more because it's Dante standing next to his own statue which is really cool I think :)
It is also nice to see because 99% of Wartune players will not be able to do this themselves.

Next up is a very nice Class Wars Wager  winning picture. Actually this is the first one I see because mostly all my wagers on my casher mage account failed so I am more used to the failed picture. 9947 Glory Crystals reward here for Dante - really nice, congratulations again! But advice to other players - gambling is not a healthy road to success and should be done by people who don't mind to lose what they put in, because with that mindset you enjoy your time no matter if you win or lose.

And then a picture of Dante and his team beating the Spire. Small reminder that our top level for Spire is level 20. In the future we will have higher levels, but for now this is the top for the Western Wartune. Like with the podium picture, also 95%-99% of all players of Wartune will probably not reach this, so it is wonderful to see the picture and congratulate those who are able.

Fate Stone Event and Promotion Pack

Hey you guys, we've got a nice Fate stone consumption event going on!

My brutal edge and resistance are both capped out, so I can't participate, but I sure wish I could -- the gold prizes are awesome and enchanting the level 80 gear is not T_T.

There are fate stone packs for sale that I'd just stay clear of. If you didn't hoard fate stones and don't have 20 to consume for the event, it's a lot cheaper to go through Jewel Hunt.

Think of the luckiest punk on your friends list, and have them roll for you the next few days xD

If you get the 300 and 700 point prizes from Jewel hunt, you'll receive the 20 fate stones needed for the event. It's very doable for free, but even if you don't make it to 700, paying 150 balens for 10 extra turns (should be enough), is better than dropping 199 balens for only 10 fate stones (and they bundle it with other nonsense)!

Just for kicks, take a guess at how many fate stones are in my vault at the moment (that I can't use lol...), subtract that number from the true count revealed in the caption below, and let me know in the comments what you got! Valueless-yet-heartfelt-brownie-points to anyone that can get within a hundred xD

Bounty Scroll and Crypt Pack Promotions

Hey you guys, there are couple new promotion packs out today, so let's give them a look-see :)

MEHHHHH RUN AWAY, don't buy these! The better of these two packs is the smaller one that has mount whips for about 20 balens each, but even that is a mediocre discount on whips -- they have come as low at 16 balens per whip. Fishing is the simple solution to the bounty quest event:

You can check out Cosmos's current data on these packs here: Crypt Pack Drop Rates v2. For the most part, I'd try to stay clear of these. It's going to be tempting for bigger cashers who want to get jewelry stuff made ASAP, but crypt tokens come at a really steady, predictable income, so they shouldn't be a priority item to cash. 

And don't be tempted by those Hellion wings! It's just glitter. Really, really, exceedingly ugly glitter.

Bonus super-awful-outfit Eliatan toon update with what my buddy and I call the "Barney" wings. I probably got them from some whale-y consumption event awhile back.
