Kids/Guardian Skills - All Classes

Hey guys, in this post I will explain all of the Kids Skills and how to learn them. Enjoy! Big thanks to Exl for sharing the Archer Skills (I had Knight/Mage and could not get any more kids since I was not married).

Introduction:

Each Class has 8 Regular Skills and 19 Passive Skills. 15 Skills of the 19 are the same for all Classes while the other 4 are special passives for each class.

The Passive Skills of All Classes:

Rage Adept:

Level One: Player's rage limit +10.
Max Level: 3 + 2 Advanced Kid Skill Levels



Awakening Master:

Level One: Slows down the player's awakening point decrease rate by 10 points.
Max Level: 3



Chaos Resistance :

Level One: 5% increase to both the child and the player's chances of resisting the chaos effect.
Max Level: 3


Amnesia Resistance:

Level One: 5% increase to both the child and the player's chances of resisting the amnesia effect.
Max Level: 3


Physical Attack Bonus:

Level One: Child's physical damage +3000.
Max Level: 3



Physical Defense Bonus:

Level One: Child's physical defense +3000.
Max Level: 3



Magic Attack Bonus:

Level One: Child's magic damage +3000.
Max Level: 3



Magic Defense Bonus:

Level One: Child's magic defense +3000.
Max Level: 3




Life Bonus:

Level One: Child's health +12000.
Max Level: 3



Physical Defense Conversion:

Level One: When active, the child's physical defense is increased by 4% of the player's defense.
Max Level: 3


Magic Defense Conversion:

Level One: When active, the child's magic defense is increased by 4% of the player's defense.
Max Level: 3


Life Conversion:

Level One: When active, the child's health is increased by 4% of the player's.
Max Level: 3



Critical Bonus:

Level One: Child's crit +3000.
Max Level: 3



Block Bonus:

Level One: Child's block +2,000.
Max Level: 3 + 2 Advanced Skills



Penetration Bonus:

Level One: Child's penetration +2,000.
Max Level: 3 + 2 Advanced Skills



Mage Passive Skills:

Damage Shift:

Level One: Received damage has 2% chance of shifting to the player instead.
Max Level: 3 + 2 Advanced Skills



Magic Attack Conversion:

Level One: When active, the child's magic attack is increased by 4% of the player's attack.
Max Level: 3 + 2 Advanced Skills


Magic Adept:

Level One: Healing ability increased by 4%, magic defense increased by 2%.
Max Level: 3 + 2 Advanced Skills



Mana Master:

Level One: Magic damage boost of 3%.
Max Level: 3 + 2 Advanced Skills



Mage Skill Active:

The Mage Kid Skills are basically same as our players but seems to be better.

Lightning Bolt - [Random Single Target]:

Cooldown: 5 seconds
Level One: Deals 102% + 15 magic damage to a random enemy target.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills


Rain of Fire - [All]:

Cooldown: 10 seconds
Level One: Deals 85% magic damage to all enemies.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills


Damnation - [All]:

Cooldown: 45 seconds
Level One: Deals 2000 magic damage to all enemies and causes targets to receive 3% more damage for 5 rounds.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills

Thunderer - [Random Single Target]:

Cooldown: 30 seconds
Level One: Deals 220% + 120 magic damage to a random enemy, 50% chance to lower their casting speed by 100% for 2 rounds.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills


Restoration - [Target with Lowest Health]:

Cooldown: 15 seconds
Level One: Restores health equivalent to 50% of magic damage for the ally with the lowest percentage of HP.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills

Suntoria - [All]:

Cooldown: 45 seconds
Level One: Allows all members of the team to regenerate 3% of max health with every action, lasts 5 rounds.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills

Blessed Light - [All]:

Cooldown: 60 seconds
Level One: Heals the entire team for the equivalent of 50% of magic damage.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills


Archer Skill Passive:


PATK Conversion: 

Level One: While active, the child receives PATK equal to 4% of the parent's main attack.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills


Eye of the Eagle: 

Level One: Critical damage increased by 8%.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills



Critical Return: 

Returns 4000 HP to oneself after a crit, triggers a maximum of once every 5 rounds.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills



Crit Conversion:

Level One: While active, the child receives 4% of the parent's crit stat.
Max level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills



Archer Skills Active:

Arrow Strike - [Random Single Target]:

Cooldown: 5 seconds
Level One: Deals 80% + 15 physical damage to a random enemy target, crit rate increased by 20%.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Levels


Multi-Shot - [Randomly Targets Twice]:

Cooldown: 5 seconds
Level One: Randomly attacks twice with each attack dealing 120% + 50 physical damage, crit rate increased by 100%.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Levels


Bloodthirsty Strike - [Front Row Single Target]:

Cooldown: 45 seconds
Level One: Deals 108% physical damage to an enemy in the front row, regenerates own health by 40% of the damage dealt, crit rate increased by 30%.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Levels


Deep Freeze - [Back Row Single Target]:

Cooldown: 30 seconds
Level One: Deals 162% + 130 physical damage to an enemy in the back row, decreases their casting speed by 100%, lasts 2 rounds.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills

Lunatic Fire - [All]:

Cooldown: 20 seconds
Deals 95% physical damage to all enemies, crit rate increased by 20%.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills


Incendiary Shot - [Random Single Target]:

Cooldown: 45 seconds
Level One: Deals 195% + 350 physical damage to a random single target, and all targets in the same row and column will receive 50% of the damage dealt. Also, targets that are under skill effects have their damage decreased by 30% for 3 rounds.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills

Armor Pierce - [Back Row Single Target]:

Cooldown: 15 seconds
Level One: Deals 195% + 350 physical damage to a back row target, lowers their physical defense by 10%, lasts 3 rounds.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills

Delphic - Chaotic Meteor - [Random 2 to 4 Targets]:

Level One: Deals 180% + 1000 physical damage to 2 to 4 random targets.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills



Knight Skills Passive:

Carry Damage:

Level One: Child has a 2% chance of taking damage in place of the parent.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills



PATK Conversion:

Level One: While active, the child's PATK is increased by 4% of the parent's main attack.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills



God's Gift:

Heals received are 6% more effective.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills



Toughen:

Level One: Received damage decreased by 1%, chance of receiving crit reduced by 2%.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills


Knight Skills Active:

Slasher - [Front Row Single Target]:

Cooldown: 5 seconds
Level 1
Deals 102% + 15 physical damage to an enemy in the front row.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills


Ultimate Slasher - [Lowest Health Target]:

Cooldown: 5 seconds
Level One: Deals 120% + 50 physical damage to the target with the lowest percentage of health.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Levels


Interception - [Prioritizes Players]:

Cooldown: 60 seconds
Level One: Deals 2,000 physical damage to a random enemy, reduces their rage by 10, prioritizes players.
Max Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills


Whirlwind - [All]:

Cooldown: 45 seconds
Deals 85% physical damage to all enemies.
Max Level: 3 + Advanced Skills


Agoran Shield - [Self]:

Cooldown: 60 seconds
Level One: Creates a shield that will absorb up to 5% of maximum HP, lasts 3 rounds.
Max Level + 2 Advanced Skills


Apollo's Shield - [All]:

Cooldown: 60 seconds
Level One: The entire team takes 10% less damage, lasts 3 rounds.
Level 3 + 2 Advanced Skills


Delphic - Titan's Wrath - [Front Row Single Target]:

Level One: Deals 240% + 250 physical damage to an enemy in the front row.
Max Level: 3 + 2 Advanced Skills



Mars' Will - [All]:

Cooldown: 90 seconds
Level One: The entire team shares damage, lasts 1 round.
Max Level: 3 + 2 Advanced Skills


How to get/activate Kids Archer/Mage/Knight Skills?

There are a total of three different chests which are Mage Skill Chest, Knight Skill Chest, and Archer Skill Chest. One chest gives one Skill Book only. Each skill chest has both, Active Skill books and Passive Skill books of that Class. The Skill Chest can be bought from the Shop which costs 10 Balenss/Unbound Balens. The skill books you get are random. If you get a new skill book that you don't already have activated, you can active it by going in the Skill Panel and click the green button next to the skill you want to activate.
  • Red Button = Activated and can be upgraded
  • Green Button = Can be activated

Knight Kid Skill Chest:

Open to receive a random knight class kid skill book.

Archer Kid Skill Chest:

Open to receive a random archer class kid skill book.

Mage Kid Skill Chest:

Open to receive a random mage class kid child skill book.

How to activate Passive Skills?

To learn the 15 passive skills that all classes share, you need to buy one of the following Passive Skill Chest which costs 10 Balens/Bound Balens each as well.  Just like the Class Skill Chests, the skill books are random and can be activated in the same method as you do with the Class Skills.

Passive Skill Chest One:

Open to receive a random common use child skill book out of the following: Rage Adept, Awakening Master, Chaos Resistance, Amnesia Resistance, PATK Bonus, PDEF Bonus, MATK Bonus, MDEF Bonus, HP Bonus.

Passive Skill Chest Two:

Open to receive a random common use child skill book out of the following: PDEF Conversion, MDEF Conversion, HP Conversion, Crit Bonus, Block Bonus, Penetration Bonus.

Leveling up your Skills:

To level up a certain skill, you need the same Skill Book for it, So if I wanted to level up my Magic Defense Conversion Skill, I would need a certain number of Magic Defense Conversion Skill Books. The upgrade bar is located right next to the skill as shown below.
  • Level 1 to 2 Requires 10 Skill Books
  • Level 2 to 3 Requires 40 Skill Books
  • Level 3 to Advanced Kids Skills Level One requires 160 Skill Books

Advanced Kids Skills:

Once you level up your level 3 skill, you are introduced to Advanced Kids Skills. Nothing special about this. Stats only increase of that skill and different material is required which is called "Book of Wisdom". The Book of Wisdom can be found in the shop also for 10 Balens/Bound Balens.


  • Advanced Kids Skill Level 1 to 2 requires 200 Book of Wisdom.

Estimate for Leveling up Skills + Conclusion:

10 Balens per Book of Wisdom/Skill Chest sounds very cheap but in the long term, it's a pain in the ass especially if your a non-casher. Now if you are a casher, $350 will get you to max out ALL of your Kids Skills. Here is a caluction of how much Balens you need for Skills:
  • 19,650 Balens for all of the 15 Passive Skills
  • 24,890 Balens for all of the Passive Skills
  • 35,370 Balens for all Passive Skills + all Active Skills
Now these are just estimates and drops of Skills Books may vary but as I said above, $350-400 should be enough to max out all of your kids skills. The thing I like about this is that Kids Skills is a great way to invest your Balens in as it gives good battle rating from Passives and stronger active skills. If you start saving up your Balens/Bound Balens, you will be happy with the outcome of Kids Skills. I usually get around 2k Balens per month (Cloud Adventure + Dimensions + Check IN Rewards).
