Wartune WINGS: Stats, Formulas, Costs, Estimates

Hey guys, in this post I put together all information on wings in Wartune to serve as a good reference point. This includes stats by level, synthesis formulas and balen / USD costs as well as some future estimates. Let's start with stats:

Wing Stats by Level in Wartune

Some points of importance;

• For lower level players the percentage values are not so important as their character statistics are small values, so for them the absolute value is much more important. In these, the jump from Level 1 to Level 2 is the largest, so try to get Level 2 Wings - for low levels that is sufficient as the next significantly better level is Level 8 Wings, which is not realistic.
• For high level / BR players, PATK/MATK being the most important stat, the key milestones are Level 2 wings with 3% Attack, then Level 5 with 4%, then Level 8 and 9 with 5% and 6%, so don't worry too much about rushing from, for example, Level 5 to Level 6 - it's not that big of a deal.

Wing Synthesis Formulas per Level

For Level 2 Wings there are 2 options:

Level 2 Wings = Level 1 + Level 1
Level 2 Wings = Level 1 + 5 x Fashion Core

Level 3 to Level 9 Wings

Level 3 Wings = Level 2 + Level 2 + 5 x Good Luck Charm
Level 4 Wings = Level 3 + Level 3 + 10 x Good Luck Charm
Level 5 Wings = Level 4 + Level 4 + 20 x Good Luck Charm
Level 6 Wings = Level 5 + Level 5 + 40 x Good Luck Charm
Level 7 Wings = Level 6 + Level 6 + 80 x Good Luck Charm
Level 8 Wings = Level 7 + Level 7 + 160 x Good Luck Charm
Level 9 Wings = Level 8 + Level 8 + 320 x Good Luck Charm

Cost of Wings in Balens and in USD ($)

The base Level 1 Wings' official price is 1995 balens or $19.95

Balen / USD cost of Level 2 to Level 9 Wings

Level 2 Wings = 1,995 + 1,995 = 3,990 balens or $39.9
Level 3 Wings = 3,990 + 3,990 + 1,975 = 9,955 balens or $99.55
Level 4 Wings = 9,955 + 9,955 + 3,950 = 23,860 balens or $238.6
Level 5 Wings = 23,860 + 23,860 + 7,900 = 55,620 balens or $556.2
Level 6 Wings = 55,620 + 55,620 + 15,800 = 127,040 balens or $1270.4
Level 7 Wings = 127,040 + 127,040 + 31,600 = 285,680 balens or $2856.8

Level 12 Wings = Level 11 + Level 11 + 2560 x Good Luck Charm

level 13 not 100% confirmed, it's between 3000 and 3500, using 3200 here:
Level 13 Wings = Level 12 + Level 12 + 3200 x Good Luck Charm

Balen / USD cost of Future Estimates

Level 10 Wings = 1,395,520 + 1,395,520 + 252,800 = 3,043,840 balens or $30,438.4
Level 11 Wings = 3,043,840 + 3,043,840 + 505,600 = 6,593,280 balens or $65,932.8
Level 12 Wings = 6,593,280 + 6,593,280 + 1,011,200 = 14,197,760 balens or $141,977.6
Level 13 Wings = 14,197,760 + 14,197,760 + 1,264,000 = 29,659,520 balens or $296,595.2

So Many Promotion Packs...

Hey you guys, there are so many new promotions in the past couple days! Wartune needs to settle down and give me a breather lol -- I don't understand who is supposed to buy all these pricy promotions at once.

I'll start out with the big No-No's that really aren't worth getting into too much.

Sepulcrum Packs
Like I've mentioned before about Mahra Packs versus Limited Mahra Packs, if you really want to fill out your sylph's aptitude, I'd wait out for a better deal. At about 20 balens per sepulcrum, these are pretty steep.

Insignia Packs
Ew. The only way they'd convince me to buy something like this is if they put in a chance at a mount I don't have :\ I also find it a bit unbelievable that insignias and crypt tokens are being valued equally (the basic reward from these packs is x25 insignias, and the Crypt Token Packs it was x25 tokens).

Seed Packs
Doubly EwEw.

Onto greener pastures.

Pony-in-pajamas, Jingle sweater, Possessed chicken.

Mount Packs

The Cloudcaller, Ostrich, and Impala mounts are for sale. Though the prices are steep for small to medium budget players, in general, cashing mounts is the most direct way to obtain useful BR. These mount packs come with varying amounts of whips with them also, which puts them at a marginally better value than purchasing the regular +10 stat mounts in the shop.

Wing Sale
For Kabam servers only, in celebration of Kabam's 100th server launch, there are wing packs for sale. This isn't bad for a new player getting their first set of wings, though usually they're discounted to 1395 balens, so waiting for an event for all of the servers might be a better bet.

Please share your thoughts! Best analogy for how pointless cashing seed packs is gets my ever-grateful giggles.

Price of all level 9 clothing and wings!

When Cosmos mentioned calculating how many balens that 404k br Chinese player had spent, I realized that was pretty impossible, without having all of the same content the Chinese servers have, and also, the difference in cost from their shop to ours. However, I did realize that I could calculate the cost of max clothing and wings (level 9). So after looking at all the costs, including good luck charms, I came to this result!
*(Please not this does not include any free clothing/wings, and use of free fashion cores. This is if you bought absolutely everything)
So, here we go!
Each piece of level 9 clothing costs 1975 balens in good luck charms, and 101,120 balens for all the clothing needed to synthesize up to level 9! That comes to a grand total of $1030.95 (USD)... For one piece of clothing!
So, multiply that time 3, for 3 pieces of clothing, and you get $3092.85... Just for 3 pieces of max clothing, wow!

Now the wings, (they're even worse to think about haha!)
So first of all, for a 100% chance of success of synthesizing your wings up a level, you need good luck charms! The total calculated cost of all of these should come to 9875 balens, and yes, I am only counting these for level 3 and up...
Then the actual wings... The total cost of all the pairs needed for level 9 comes to a whopping 510,720 balens. This makes the total cost of level 9 wings, including good luck charms, $5205.95

That grand total, wings and clothing, comes to $8298.80.
How crazy is that!!!
