Poll Results of Holidays in Wartune

Hey guys, let’s look at what people said about having holidays in Wartune. We had 86 votes on the poll and interestingly my favorite option didn’t win :), but first I want to say why I think this is important:

Why having some time off is important?

We, gamers, all love games and all of us who play and enjoy Wartune are partly or fully addicted to it. To top this off, the devs and the various publishers, due to their big experience in gaming have become very good at structuring things in such a way that you end up having to play a lot every day (even if some days you don’t want to), because missing out on things puts you a lot behind your competition.

However, any good human will recognize that people who play Wartune also have work, school, families and other things in life and even though we all should be strong enough to say “no”, our addictions often take the upper hand and I strongly believe that any company who wants to be ethical and good, who cares about their players and fans, would also take care of them by allowing them to have some flexibility / holidays / time off.

That’s why I opened the poll for the options:

• 1-5 days per month holidays + can claim 80% of most hot/events’ rewards (not all!)


• 1-3 days … same as above, but with 90% claim


• 1 day … same as above, but with 100% claim


• Missed event one day = double rewards for that event next time you do it (this was my favorite :P)


• No holidays at all

I am fully aware that this ethical and human friendly offer would slightly reduce short term profits for the devs and publishers, but they would win I believe in the long term as players will be more loyal to their games knowing that they offer such flexibility. And other companies would have to be forced over time to offer the same!

The winner options was: 36% or 31 people voted for the option to have from 1 to 5 days time off or holidays per month in Wartune with the option to be able to claim 80% of most hot/events’ rewards.

Only 12% or 10 people voted for no holidays, so clearly everyone can see that the vast majority feels the need to have a bloody break and I really hope the devs / publishers listen to people and help.

Dual Gems (Two Gems in one) Info

Hey guys, test servers got the new patch and in it, a cool feature called Double Attribute Gems (Dual Gems) was added which is basically two gems in one. To go along with this article, I also made a video on Dual Gems so please watch it below :D.

Socketing a Dual Gem in Equipment:

The good thing is that you can socket any type of dual gem in any type of equipment. If you noticed from my video, the stats for dual gems decrease by 40% which will drain battle rating and stats if you choose to have all dual gems.

Synthesizing a Dual Gem:

Unlike Chinese Wartune, you can Synthesize dual gems for free.

Recycling a Dual Gem:

This is the best thing about dual gems to me because if you choose to not want a particular dual gem, you can recycle it to split the dual gem into two.

Can you convert dual gems?

No and even if they did add a feature where you can convert dual gems, I bet it would expensive.

Conclusion:

The dual gems feature is actually something I am looking forward to because it is free and you can socket a dual gem with the attributes in equipment that also has the same attribute gems which means more battle rating.

Dual Gems Info - Chinese Wartune

Hey guys, test servers are getting the new patch in a couple of hours and I just wanted to share a sneak peek before they get the new patch. In the new patch, double attribute gems (Dual Gems) will be added and since many people are anxious to know what is required, I am sharing this. Now please note that this is based off of Chinese Wartune and they could add/remove or edit any small feature of Dual Gems.

Requirements:

• Red Equipment Piece:


• x2 Level 10 and up gems


• Bound Balens/Balens


• Gem Solvent

The good thing about dual gems us that you don’t need any special transposers but the down side is that you need to spend a huge amount of balens/bound balens on the material needed to fuse gems. The other bad thing about dual gens is that you can only socket it in red equipment.

Gem Solvent:

The Gem Solvent is ridiculously expensive but cloud adventure may help out. Each of these “Gem Solvent” costs 1,000 Balens/Bound Balens which is located in the “Gem Section from the Shop.” The price may increase once we get this.

Level 10 Dual Gem Synthesis:

• x2 Level 10 Gems (Each of them must be different)


• 1,600 Gold


• x1 Gem Solvent

Level 11 Dual Gem Synthesis:

• x2 Level 11 Gems (Each of them must be different)


• 1,800 Gold


• x2 Gem Solvent

Level 12 Dual Gem Synthesis:

• x2 Level 12 Gems (Each of them must be different)


• 2,000 Gold


• x4 Gem Solvent

This is one of the reason I won’t bother to dual my gems because all of those balens can be used in something more effective. Not only these are expensive but once you use it up to dual a gem, they go away. To be honest, I would rather spend 1,000 balens on crypt keys to get a high chance of getting a transposer that I don’t have.

Guardian of Shambhala Wartune Mount

Hey guys, I received this funny Wartune mount picture and want to share with you to make you smile. It is called the Guardian of Shambhala and thanks to Der/Pate/Iam for sending me the screenshot. Put below in the comments what do you think about this mount? My first reaction was “LOL”

Cosmos on Arthros Mount

Hey guys, I got the Arthos Mount! Wohoo Totally did not expect it! So I changed my bold bright red Scarlet / Trendsetter clothing to a darker violet dragon / blue look to match Arthos so that we can look good together! ^^

The Arthros mount can also fly, which is pretty cool, but I must say it “flies” in the most ugly way by sort of walking rather than flying. Still, helps to get to places easier and thus also you see on the screenshot I am standing on the balcony which is normally not accessible.

COSMOS’s Tips to get mounts the 100% free way:

• I credit all my mount achievements to my “hoarding” strategy. I always have a ton of many items saved up and a lot of untrained space in Sylphs, Stables, Mount Refines, Fate, etc, which is damaging by Battle Rating growth in the short term (not long term) but keeping me ready for events (and ultimately gives me BR when I do win a mount or other special items). This way, when some event comes which gives boxes I am usually able to collect all prizes. Examples of such recent events are:
  
  • Use 200 Mahra every day for a bunch of days (e.g. for 5 days this would be 1000 Mahra; and you get a bunch back also to make it easier)
  
  
  • Use 200 Sepulcrum for Sylph Enchant every day for some days (e.g. for 5 days this would be 1000 Sepulcrum)
  
  
  • Use 500 Whips every day for Mount training (e.g. for 5 days this would be 2500 Whips)
  
  
  • etc.
  
  


• I open all boxes even though Exchanges have sometimes nice options for exchanging the boxes instead of opening them. The only one time I made an exception was the time when they were giving 24 Good Luck Charms and actual mounts. So if I can get a guaranteed mount from not opening boxes I will do that, but since usually they are expensive in exchanges and not achievable for free players then I just open all boxes I get.


• Stop stressing about it! Be happy regardless of mounts! I am actually equally happy if I get the mount or not, I just continue to enjoy the game, so when I do get the mount it’s a pleasant surprise and I am super happy for some hours and then back to normal happy

Arthros is a +60 stat mount! It also gives +10 to the Max Attribute level which allows for a lot more mount training.

Power Potion vs Fresh Milk Tea

Hey guys, since the Patch 4.0 we now have a new item to boost our attack stat, the Fresh Milk Tea, which is actually a percentage giving item instead of the fixed value power and intelligence potions that we were used to. So let’s have a look at Power Potion vs Fresh Milk Tea:

The 2 items with their descriptions I am putting at the bottom of this article, but basically:

• A Level 5 Power potion (the MATK / Intelligence version works the same way) is giving +140 to Power, which means we need to multiple this by 4 as each power stat will give 4 to PATK (and 1 to PDEF), so this potion will give 560 to our Attack stat.


• The Fresh Milk Tea (same for it’s MATK equivalent), on the other hand, will increase our Attack stat by 10%, so logically the bigger our Attack stat is the more it will give.

Chart Comparison of Power Potion vs Fresh Milk Tea

I have prepared the chart below so that we can clearly see where is the cut off point between the two items. The following are the points we can observe the the analysis:

• Fresh Milk Tea becomes a lot more powerful from already very early on.


• Until about 5000 Attack points you are better of using the level 5 Power Potion or the level 5 Intelligence Potion; after 5000 Attack points the Fresh Milk Tea gives a lot more stats.


• Once you get larger Attack points, say above 100k, then the potions become practically useless / negligible, while the Milks give a huge amount of additional attack power. Example: at 200k attack you get an additional 20k attack points from the milks.

Level 39 Wartune Camper with 132k Battle Rating

Hey guys, campers are reducing day by day because of the 1000% Word Prosperity Buff but this does not stop my friend, Vlax from camping. As of now, he is level 39 with 132,040 battle rating! For a level 39, this is monster battle rating. I can’t imagine myself staying in the same level for a long time.

Vlax’s Stats/Toon:

These stats are very impressive and the character built is very correct for a knight. Vlax has all level 9 Gems. These are the gems he has:

• PATK


• PDEF


• HP


• Block

Vlax’s Clothing:

As you can from the image above, Vlax has level 9 clothing which is another good accomplishment for. Vlax never cashed on clothing, he got them to this level by using bound balens and cores from fishing.

Vlax’s Astral Value and Mount Strength:

I can already tell that tons of gold and clicking has been put into his Astrals. 😀

His Mount Strength comes from non cash mounts (including stable mounts) and mounts he got from luck.

This is a whole lot of hoarding right here…
