New Troops 50% Stronger

Hey guys, interesting news - new troops have arrived to Wartune China, so we can have a look on them and see what we are going to get sooner or later. They are both PATK and MATK following after the Templar and the Warlock but they are 50% stronger which is rather huge!

I was actually wondering when the new troops will show up because, with the new sylphs, even a full health, Templars for example, get 1 shot killed with the sylphs AOE attack (example: Iris delphic). So new troops were needed for sure, although I am not sure that 50% stronger is enough for the sylphs's attacks.

However, this will pose a problem when not in the sylph mode, because already it is rather difficult for most non-top players to clean up the templars, so this really plays in the hands of mages primarily, then archers and as usual knights get the short end of the stick.

EDIT: Hey guys, got an update from Hyperion who's been doing some secret agent translation research :) so a few points and a picture:

  • Max lvl 70 troops. Magic knight on left.. magic angel on right.
  • Knight skill : 50% chance to do 200% damage.
  • Mage maybe aoe?

From EWD to Crit Mage: Before and After

(Posted by Eliatan)

Hey you guys, I've been thinking for awhile that it's time for me to move my mage from an EWD (enhanced will destroyer) build to a crit one. I haven't seen a side-by-side comparison of the two options yet, so I hope this proves interesting and informative :)

My main reasons for moving to a crit build:
  1. The sylph system seems to really favor crit builds -- huge Iris heals, frequent rage-free delphic attacks, and many other good reasons to have crit on your side.
  2. I enjoy the PvE parts of the game, where crit is extra strong, more so than the PvP aspects.
  3. I could use a change. I've been a very pro-EWD player for a long time. I play rather conservatively and enjoy a certain amount of predictability, so it's about time I break out of that shell and do something different!
  4. One more excuse to make pewpew jokes with those naughty archers.
Thing I'm sure to miss most about EWD: being a sturdy little tank mage; you can invest so much in survivability stats when you don't have to commit to crit.

And now onto the before (left) and after (right):

4 MDEF and 4 HP gems converted to Crit; 6 MDEF and 1 PDEF stats refined to Crit
EWD, Illusion, and EGA (Enhanced Guardian Angel) switched to
Sniper's Edge, Determination, and either Illusion or EGA

Stat change summary:
  • -146 (-0.57%) PDEF
  • No change in MATK
  • -4,241 (-12.6%) MDEF
  • +5772 (+801.3%) Crit
  • No change in Block
  • -10,424 (-8.5%) HP
  • No change in Troop count
  • -699 Battle rating
I mostly gave up MDEF (followed by HP) in exchange for the Crit, because I favor balanced defense (nice way of saying I'm am scared of PATK). After the switch my battle rating actually went down, which is unusual when moving to a critical build. Another problem is I ran out of refinement crystals, so in some cases I'm taking lower quality critical stats over very high M/PDEF ones.

Plans for the future:
  • Finish getting the rest of my gems to level 7 (will raise my crit and HP)
  • Collect more refinement crystals to get better crit on my gear
  • Make up for some of the lost survivability stats by focusing on Armor and Endurance during the next mount whip event
  • Bake cupcakes, because cupcakes make me happy. And everybody knows that happy people with cupcakes crit more than their unhappy, cupcakeless counterparts.
So, what do you guys think? Please share anything you think that might help this crit build! I probably still need to adjust it a bit. I think I gave up too much MDEF, but this is what I went with for now ^^

Sylph Essence Farming Drops

Hey guys, a lot of people are curious about sylph farming in the sylph atoll and the chances of getting one which is not white. So here below is a report I prepared based on the input of Kay (thanks Kay!) where you can see that out of 3499 sylphs killed and the 58 times when the 60 essence exchange was made the vast majority were white sylphs - 86.2%. So do not be surprised at all if you get white all the time.

On the other hand it is relatively good to see that the chance of getting green is not that bad, at 13.8%, so this means that 1-2 in 10 exchanges should in theory give a green one.

Now in this data set not a single blue sylph was dropped or exchanged, which is rather unlucky I suppose, but you can indeed get blue ones as well both from instant drops as well as from the exchanges. I recon the chance of blue is maybe like 2-3%.

It is a pity that Wartune went a little bit in the boring farming direction, but at least now you can see the chances, so have a look at the report below:

Battle Ground Chest Drop Rates v4

Hey guy, here I have compiled the 4th and I think for now the final version of the Battle Ground Chest Drop Rates which is now very accurate with 936 chests of data! If there will be a patch which will change the BG chests then I will again collect data on this, but for now this is an awesome accuracy and thanks to everyone who supported with the data as shown on the picture.

For the newer people you can get the Battle Ground Chest in Wartune by collecting the shards in the Battle Ground and once you get 60 of them you can synthesize this chest. It is a good idea to collect these even if it takes a long time because the rewards are nice as you can see on the report.

Looking at the data you can see it is not surprising at all why so many people complain about getting always level 2 and level 3 gems. Here we see these have ~33% drop rate each which means that ~66% of the time (1 in 3 chests) you will be getting one of the gems.

All the other rewards are nicely distributed. The popular socketing rod has a rate of 4.4%, which is not bad at all.

Also all the high level luck stones, if you add up the percentages, come to a 13.6% chance of getting one of them which is very nice, especially for the low to medium level players.

So there it is, thanks again for the support and check out the report below:

To my WarMachine Guild fans

Hey guys, a big thank you to my Wartune fans from the WarMachine Guild led by Guild Master Zoieraptor (Kabam server no. 5 oceanic) for supporting me both in our Wartune passion and with a little gift. Thanks!

And also congrats to Rono for his great achievement in Class Wars! (2nd in mages!!!). Gjob! Now go back to the library and read up on those spells cause #1 is still up for grabs :) hehe

You see how awesome it is when you have such a friendly group of people - you end up having much more fun and you are also more successful in Wartune! So make sure you guys get into a good guild like the WarMachine and if a good one does not exist then create a great guild yourself and enjoy your time in Wartune!

Problems with Destroyed Accounts

Hey guys, I got the below letter from Zefelina and before you read it some advice from me also to protect yourself for the future (also note I am not gonna post everyone's letters, the reason I post this is also to teach people consequences of such actions):

Don't share your account passwords. It might be your best friend or whatever, but you could always have a fight and lose your account. Moreover, sharing this way is not allowed by the game rules.

The letter:

"Hey Cosmos,

I would like to ask you for a favor if possible, since a lot of people read your blog ^^ you see, today I had my account completely destroyed by someone I trusted my Facebook pass with. He PMed me telling me to quit the game (we were not talking for a few days but I have played with him for over a year and it happened sometimes that we had disagreements). I of course said no, went to Facebook and changed my pass sensing something bad might happen. 20 minutes later I lost my network connection, tried to log back in, however, he was logging back in whenever I tried to do so. I logged my alt and told guildies what was happening, I also changed my Facebook pass several times as I play through there, even blocked the account, and he still could log in. Now all my equips are sold, so is all inventory, he made me leave guild, no sylphs, astro, anything. Even friends deleted.

I am telling you this because I hope you could post this letter in your blog, and I especially hope for the support of other players. I am asking to restore my account as it was, especially because that person could log in because of bad security. Remember: I did change my pass before he destroyed everything, so I could do absolutely nothing when he stayed on with my old pass for hours.

I posted a message ob Wartune Community in Facebook, hoping they take notice and sent numerous tickets.

Thank you a lot,

Zefelina, s77 (lvl 73)"

95k Athena Sylph

Hey guys, you know there are already a lot of players now in Wartune with 95k BR, but did you think or know that there are sylphs with BR higher than you? :) hehehe

Here from Tristen you can see a 95k BR Athena! This sylph is an Athena (Transformation of Apollo). Sylph Battle Rating Madness!!! (EDIT: Corrected Meduza to Athena)

Also, Tristen found out that an Aegis (Transformation of Hades) can go up to 140k BR (Orange level 80). It can also one shot the level 100 Forgotten Catacombs. So yes this is the power of the sylphs.

Alternate method of getting free Unbound Balens

What is this method?

(Posted by iamop)

As many of you know, COSMOS recently made another post on how to get unbound balens. (Or was it a long time ago) However, if you don't like to do surveys, watch videos, etc., I have another method for you to use!

TELL ME NOW, IAMOP! WHAT IS THIS METHOD!

It's called Bing Rewards, and you get points for one of the most common tasks you do online: searching! That's right! As you search, you earn points. You get 1 point for every 2 searches you do.

OK, so what's the fine print?

Well, it might take a while. To prevent spam searching by bots, Bing only allows you to earn 15 points a day from searching. Also, if said points are used for Wartune, it only works on Aeria Games and Game321. Hope Kabam gets accepted soon.

A list of games that Rixty accepts:
https://www.rixty.com/shop

(If I do the Copy+Paste, it's gonna be a textwall of doom)

How many points will I need to get Balens?

You will need 525 points to get $5 worth of Balens. However, Bing also has member tiers. There's Member, Silver, and Gold. If you are in Gold tier, you get a 50 point discount on the card, So it only costs me 475 points!

KK, so how do I get started?

Here's my referral link, not sure if COSMOS wants one.

Share Your Pets' Names!

(Posted by Eliatan)

Hey you guys, promise I’ll try to keep releasing semi-constructive content, but I wanted to do a post on pet names just for fun ^^

As most of you know, and I have a little example below, once you get a sylph, you can name and rename it for free. I love all the various themes people come up with. Mine are all named after beers:

I named the pets of an archer I play after the Carter family:

Another personal favorite, which I won’t post here, is a friend that names all his sylphs different euphemisms for a certain part of the female anatomy ...

And then of course there are the ones named after yours truly :P Wartune has fulfilled all my dreams of being likened to a fun size candy.

So what do you guys name your pets? I’ve seen so many different themes. A lot of people name them after their friends, TV and movie characters, colorful ways of telling people to go f*** themselves ... lots of options! Please share and gimme a good laugh!

New Fish at Level 5 and 1+ year to VIP Fish

Hey guys, some interesting info on fishing since there are some facts now to share about it! So new fish starts showing up as of level 5, i.e. 1 new fish every 5 levels it seems like and the first ones like you see on this picture (thanks to Atomslaya) show up at fishing level 5. And you notice that it does not replace other fish but instead is additional.

New Fish Every 5 Levels in Wartune

(for below: thanks to antichaos & bshallc2010)

  • New fish becomes available every 5 levels.
  • It will take about 10 weeks to level up Fishing for every 5 levels (when you focus to catch the deeper fish)
  • Estimating to take more than 60 weeks (15 months+) to reach VIP Card fish (again focusing on deep fish)

Rewards we guesstimate to be:

  • Fishing Level 5 will be Bounty Scroll, 10 pts, 3 XP
  • Fishing Level 10 will be Insignia, 12 pts, 3 XP
  • Fishing Level 15 will be Crypt Token, 14 points, 4 XP
  • Fishing Level 20 will be Refine Lock, 16 points, 4 XP
  • Fishing Level 25 will be Fashion Shard, 18 points, 5 XP
  • Fishing Level 30 will be VIP Trial, 20 pts, 5 XP

EDIT: More accurate time to level 30 calculation by bshallc2010:

Calculation assumptions:
Only one new fish type unlocks every 5 levels
Experience requirements go up by 50 per level
Every 2 new fish types give 1 extra Experience, each new type gives 2 extra points...
Basis = points seem to go up by 2 per "layer", that is 2,4,6,8
Experience seems to go up by 1 for every 2 "layers", that is 1,2.

Experience Daily Limit 40 (28 days spent below)

Fishing Levels 1-2 = 200
Fishing Levels 4-5 = 350

Experience Daily Limit 60 (104 days spent below)

Fishing Levels 5-6 = 400
Fishing Levels 9-10 = 600
Fishing Levels 10-11 = 650
Fishing Levels 14-15 = 850

Experience Daily Limit 80 (145 days spent below)

Fishing Levels 15-16 = 900
Fishing Levels 19-20 = 1100
Fishing Levels 20-21 = 1150
Fishing Levels 24-25 = 1350

Experience Daily Limit 100 (75 days spent below)

Fishing Levels 25-26 = 1400
Fishing Levels 29-30 = 1600

So to conclude:
Minimum of 352 days are needed in order to achieve level 30 fishing in Wartune using the mentioned assumptions.

Simple Ways to Get Extra Boxes During Gift Events

(Posted by Cosmos on behalf of Elitan)

Hey you guys, Eliatan here. My main toon is a mage on Kabam 18, and after some friendly encouragement from Cosmos, I’m getting my Wartune blogging feet wet with a post about some simple ways to get extra boxes during gift events like the following:

(from the R2games Wartune forums)
New Year's Gift - Broken Box
Duration: 1/10 - 1/12 & 1/17 - 1/19 (Server Time)
Description: There must be some mysterious gifts hidden in this Broken Box. You can find them in Multiplayer Dungeons, Solo Campaigns, and Catacombs! Open it to obtain one of the following:

  • Lost Gift x1
  • 10,000 Gold
  • 10,000 Daru
  • 2,000 Kyanite
  • Insignia x5
  • Mahra x1

These types of events are nice -- with a little planning, you can get 30+ extra boxes each period, and who doesn't love more stuff? :)

Just to be clear, when I say “extra boxes,” I mean ones that you wouldn't get if you only did the usual one daily Catacombs, 100-160 stamina, and one multiplayer dungeon.

The next time this event begins is on 1/17, so I’m going to explain everything relative to that start date, but it’s always good to keep up with the forum announcements to know when this type of thing is coming.

Since this event is based on drops from dungeon mobs, the most low maintenance thing you can do is to enter the Forgotten Catacombs the day before (1/16 in this case), and then leave before attacking anything. Equivalently, you can start the blitz and then cancel it. Once you do this, your Catacombs page should like this:

You will not lose the next day’s attempt by doing this. Once the event starts, you can use the 1/16 attempt, and the screen will say “Today’s Attempts: 1/1”.

Here are some of the results Cosmos and I got from Catacombs during this event:

As you can see, even without a crypt key, you can get 18 extra boxes by pushing your Catacombs attempt to the next day, and with a crypt key, an extra 22-36.  I think the crypt key attempt with only 22 is just rotten luck on Cosmos’s part, because I haven’t seen anything lower than 30 boxes myself.

Anything about Catacombs also applies to Tormented Necropolis, if you’re willing to use that many crypt keys. I blitzed levels 1 to 18 once during the event just to show you guys, but for most people the 3 crypt keys a day (plus one for Catacombs = 4!) isn't an option.

Got 4 of the boxes from this, but more exciting are the two level 4 gems ^^ (very rare)!

Another low effort “blitz push” to the event start day, is to save 100 stamina on 1/16, so that after reset on 1/17, you have 200 stamina + 60 from altar.  Here are some 100 stamina blitz results during the event:

The return is much lower from solo campaigns than from Catacombs, and it probably differs a little depending on which campaign you use. But you’re still getting 1-2 boxes per 20 stamina. Who knows, they could all have mahra in them :P

For the more dedicated souls out there, you can also take advantage of the 5 hour window between when events begin (00:00) and server reset occurs (5:00). You can save 100 stamina on 1/15, then after server reset on 1/16 you’ll have a total of 200. Once the event starts at 00:00 1/17, you can blitz 200, and then get your 60 from altar for that day.

Likewise for Catacombs, you can enter and leave it on 1/15, then blitz once after 00:00 1/17 and either blitz again or enter/leave for your 1/16 attempt.

The tough part about this is staying on top of your blitzing times. You only have a few hours to do what you want, because all of this needs to be done before the reset at 5:00.  You can also wait to use your 1/16 MPD attempt during this period, but getting a group at these hours a bit of a pain, and it only drops a couple boxes anyway.

I particularly like doing the saving stamina technique when a 100% EXP bonus event is coming up (doesn't apply to Catacombs or Necropolis), but the hours are a bit difficult for me (EST player on WST server). If the hours work out conveniently for you, I highly recommend it.

Below is a little agenda I made for the main things I've discussed. Low effort refers to things that can be done without having to worry about being on to play between 00:00 and 5:00 1/17.

This turned out way longer than I thought it would! Hope this helps everyone out, and please share anything you do to take advantage of events in the comments :)

Spire to Stage 19 Without Mages 2 Iris

(Posted by Cosmos, on behalf of Vlameni)

Hello, this is Vlameni from Kongregate Server 3 Europe (aka kong5), showing a spire run without mages but 2 Iris with aoe heal.

I'll try to give advice for a good spire run, also with a few variations depending on the teams strength.

Archers don't forget to take IS , makes the run much easier. Knights should take Apollo shield.

Spire Bosses 3-4-5

Well i think we all know that they need to die before last bar because they debuff for +40% damage received to players each and can't be removed. So, depending on your strength , time it right combine your strong hits at last life bar. Try to save your vulcans for later. If you are not sure you can make it, then better use vulcan than risk a debuff.

Spire Boss 7

Needs also to die at last bar like the 3-4-5 bosses as he does a speed debuff to the team affecting our auto hits and also the time we need to cast runes. Just get all 4 teammates to cast their ultimate hits and no vulcan needed. If you can't deal enough damage I suggest to take the debuff, save your vulcan for later.

Spire Boss 9

Needs scatter but if you can, do as I did in the video, don't take scatter but nuke at the start of the fight and then use light attacks & heal as this can save room for another skill as scatter is not needed anywhere else.

Spire Boss 11

Immediately cast IS & Apollo shield if you have. There is also a nice trick. If your tank dies, then leave him dead, take 1-2 hits if the people in the back are strong enough and then revive him again. This worked really well back when formation was 3 rows. I recommend if you find it difficult to stay alive at 11, someone take iris to support heal to the tank.

Spire Boss 12

Can't damage you a lot, but enrages to 1000% rather quickly so 1-2 vulcans would be fine unless you have 30k+ damage so you could take him out without vulcans.

Spire Boss 13

Hits once front row and then does a strong attack to all & damage debuff so start with IS and if you have a mage get puri ready so you remove the damage reduction debuff and vulcan him. 1 iris aoe heal after that hit is recommended. Also IS+apollo together work wonders.

Spire Boss 14

Start immediately with IS+apollo shield. he does a deadly attack to all. Counter it with puri as he bleeds too. Vulcan recommended as he enrages fast.

Spire Boss 15

Has a sweet tactic to die. As always, start with IS and get ready to heal your tank. You need to remove 1 health bar so she stuns you and gives full rage just like in lych lair. If you can't get that life bar removed fast, not only she will deal lots of pain but will also propably later enrage to 1000%. So , if the team is at about 30k damage ,use 1 vulcan early, someone get  iris ready to heal or mage. Now the fun begins: when you are stunned, get a mage to bl or an iris to use rain dance in a row. Archers vulcan - sniper - sniper - sniper, no other skill (well except if you need IS) and kill her fast. Watch the video as it's much better than reading !

Spire Boss 16

Well, you still have zero cooldown from the previous boss, so vulcan her! just 1 thing, she deals a deadly attack to all so have IS or apollo or both ready and also prepare to heal all.

Spire Bosses 17-18-19

Are just strong and enrage pretty fast. No tactics here, just watch the video.

Price of all level 9 clothing and wings!

(Posted by GandalfGrey)
When Cosmos mentioned calculating how many balens that 404k br Chinese player had spent, I realized that was pretty impossible, without having all of the same content the Chinese servers have, and also, the difference in cost from their shop to ours. However, I did realize that I could calculate the cost of max clothing and wings (level 9). So after looking at all the costs, including good luck charms, I came to this result!
*(Please not this does not include any free clothing/wings, and use of free fashion cores. This is if you bought absolutely everything)
So, here we go!
Each piece of level 9 clothing costs 1975 balens in good luck charms, and 101,120 balens for all the clothing needed to synthesize up to level 9! That comes to a grand total of $1030.95 (USD)... For one piece of clothing!
So, multiply that time 3, for 3 pieces of clothing, and you get $3092.85... Just for 3 pieces of max clothing, wow!

Now the wings, (they're even worse to think about haha!)
So first of all, for a 100% chance of success of synthesizing your wings up a level, you need good luck charms! The total calculated cost of all of these should come to 9875 balens, and yes, I am only counting these for level 3 and up...
Then the actual wings... The total cost of all the pairs needed for level 9 comes to a whopping 510,720 balens. This makes the total cost of level 9 wings, including good luck charms, $5205.95

That grand total, wings and clothing, comes to $8298.80.
How crazy is that!!!

Well, that's all for now guys, have fun playing, and maybe send some more calculations to cosmos so we can all be amazed at how much some heavy cashers spend!!!
Also, please correct me if I have made a mistake, I want this post to be accurate and am totally willing to change it if somebody has some information I'm missing :)

Advice for Level 50s - MVP, Items, Refinement

Hey guys, Cosmos Mage at Kabam Wartune is growing well and I want to share with you some knowledge / tips about being around level 50.

First up is the first sign that you are doing well and that is getting MVP title in the Battle Ground. So for all those people asking me "am i strong enough?" or "is my BR good enough" this is one of the ways of answering yourself the question. And yes I know some rooms in the BG in Wartune can be harder and some easier but just getting MVP one time is a good sign that you are doing good. Here is the picture of my first MVP.

Next up an update on the character and advice. So I am already Elite Warrior and growing honor steadily. Doing much better in the Battle Ground as I get stronger. I did get to level 54 - it is very hard not to level up, but now I am going on a serious experience diet so I don't level up to 55 just yet. The main problem is coming from the catacombs and summoner in the MP dungeon. You kind of have to do catacombs because the tokens are needed to synthesize the 50 set or make legend the jewelry. And if you want to get the loids and the legend stones faster you kind of need to do the summoner.

Now my Kabam Wartune server is an old server, so I can't find anyone who wants to do the 50 summoner, so my growth has been slowed down by this, but still from the few times I did do the summoner there is good experience coming from those fights as well, so be careful not to level up from this if you are holding level.

Got my first level 50 legend item. I picked the hat because I already invested into max enchantment of the 40 set staff and I actually didn't want to lose my +200 damage from the 2 pieces of the 40 set. But my next 50 item will be the body armor since that's my weakest item now. Then the staff and then last, the necklace since health for me is last priority. In the meantime I might have enough tokens and legend stones to make one of my jewels into legend.

Above 200% academy buff is on but the academy levels are low since I am playing less than a month and kyanite is limited.

Last, I want to remind you that item refinement in Wartune is very important, but can be difficult if unlucky. Especially since we get now refinement locks from jewel event. See below I made very nice refinement of my new 50 legend hat, but I also warn you that it is very luck driven. I spent absolutely all crystals I gathered since the start of the game and I could not get that last attribute to become armor or intelligence. Very unlucky and more than that now i don't have crystals for any other item. The +10 crit is not terrible, it will help me with World Boss earnings a little bit, but for this character it is very wrong because I use Will Destroyer for PVP.

404k BR Madness Wartune Picture

Hey guys, as I am totally stunned by this crazy 404k BR picture from Wartune. I have both so much to say and also unable to say. I think this is pure madness. Certainly great many thousands have been spent on this account and perhaps there is a way to estimate but I think this BR might be worth more than a real house in real life.

Granted, if you might be so wealthy to allow yourself such luxuries I only kindly ask you that at least 10% of the amount you spend on balens you send to charity of your choice. I suggest one which gives school education to little children.

Lastly, if someone reading this is really good in maths I challenge you to try to calculate how much $$ different BIG things in Wartune cost (full clothing, top wings, 404k BR, etc). Email me and I will publish it for everyone to have fun and laugh about it.

Astral Guide for any class

Posted by iamop

Hey there! This is my first guide on COSMOS' blog. In this guide, I will go over the basics of astrals, and which ones to use for your class.

What the hell are these astrals?

Astrals are "add-ons" to your character that enhance its stats and provide a variety of ways to play Wartune.

Where do I acquire said astral?

You can acquire astrals in the astro icon on the bottom of your screen, and looks like a little circle.

After you click the icon, you get this screen. Click on the glowing planet to receive an astral.
After you click the astral, the next one may unlock. It will keep on going if you are lucky, The higher the astral level, the rarer the astrals may be.

OK, I got them astrals, now what?

You can equip astrals by double-clicking them in the astral screen

What do I do after I get my astrals?

After you receive your wanted astral, you need to level it up. There are two ways to do this. One way is to keep using your star points to buy Energine, which gives 500 EXP. However, another way, and a better way, is to use every single astral you find and synthesize it into one astral. You then collect that astral and feed it to the one you want to level up.

Wait, what kind of astrals are there?

There are a variety of astrals, each with its own function.

^TL;DR XD

OK, so what astrals do I use?

The astrals you use differ for each class. The astrals I recommend for each class are below

Mage

This is a tricky one. You can go a multitude of ways, like EWD, CRIT, or DMG build.

EWD: Enhanced Will Destroyer
CRIT: Sniper's Edge
DMG: Not really much, just MATK

What you should equip (in order)

1. MATK
2. EWD (if you're lucky)
3. PDEF
4. MDEF
5. Refined Goddess' Blessing
6. Enhanced Illusion
7. Enhanced Guardian Angel
8. HP or BLOCK

Archer

This should be pretty obvious. Always go CRIT, as you work off it

CRIT: Sniper's Edge

1. PATK
2. CRIT
3. PDEF
4. MDEF
5. Refined Goddess' Blessing
6. Enhanced Determination (Get this in early if you're lucky)
7. Enhanced Guardian Angel
8. HP/BLOCK/Enhanced Illusion

Knight

You could go crit, but most think EWD is better. You need HP early.

CRIT: Sniper's Edge
EWD: Enhanced Will Destroyer

1. PATK
2. HP
3. MDEF
4. PDEF
5. Refined Goddess' Blessing
6. BLOCK
7. Enhanced Guardian Angel
8. Enhanced Illusion

What are the drop rates for astrals?

Thanks to COSMOS, we now have a infographic on the drop rates!

Use Wartune Events to Your Advantage

Hey guys, so I want to talk to you about using Wartune events to your advantage and maybe also not being afraid a little. Recently we had a 3 day event about upgrading gems and I must say I always fell into the trap of only synthesizing gems from my bag and usually I didn't have enough for those high level 6 and level 7 gems. Level 6 I could  make sometimes, but forget level 7, I never even considered that. Until....

Until I was chatting with my guildies and I overheard that someone synthesized their own gems, I mean the ones they wear on their equipment just to make level 6 and level 7 gems and so most of their equipment was actually left with small level 2 gems, which we were laughing about.

I thought about this and actually i believe he was right in doing so because you not only get a higher level gem, but also the big rewards from the event. And yes, sure, for a while, and it could be a month or more you will have to make do with weaker gems on your other equipment until you can raise them up again, but I do believe it is well worth it and also because....

...we have other events where you can get even more rewards. So here for example you get lots of soul crystals as reward and gathering enough of these will allow you to get bigger rewards during the soul crystal events which come sometimes just like the time where I used my 12,000 soul crystals and got my nice Frost Lion mount and also lots of Mahras.

So here below a screenshot to show you how I redeemed all the gem rewards and got my first ever 2 level 7 gems. Yes now my BR fell a few thousand because of the low level gems i now have on other equipments, but this is temporary and I am happy about this! :)

Bear in mind that I bought the transmute formula with locked balens only for 1 gem and I had to spend a couple of million gold to convert back and forth to get the PATK gem (i bought the formula for MDEF).

If player is killed, other side gets 10% of the resource point value. There are 5 Guard Towers, each start neutral and can be occupied by 1 team of 4 at any one time. When destroyed they take 2 minutes to revive and come back as neutral again. Every so often the Guild gets points for occupying these. Each Guild may summon up to 5 chariots. These chariots can go unmanned or players can enter it. Chariots can attack players, or other chariots. No Ward tower to attack, chariot goes around until destroyed. 10,000 Points is required to win the Guild Battle. King’s Seals are awarded for each individual battle, at the end of Preliminaries, and at the end of Finals and can be exchanged in the King Shop for Mount Cards, God Cast Vulcan’s Hammers, Soul Imprints/Stones, Gold Boxes, Sylphs, etc…King’s Seals are cleared before the next Season of Guild Battles, you cannot save them between seasons

Marriage System

Players above level 36 can get engaged. You must be friends to do this. One must buy the “Engagement Ring” in the mall to propose. If the proposal is refused you get the ring back. There are 3 weddings, small, medium, and large. The bigger the wedding, the greater the rewards. Once the wedding is set, you have the chapel for 2 hours. Once the wedding is complete, both players get a permanent buff, a wedding ring in place of the engagement ring and new skills. The wedding ring can be upgraded based on the player’s friendship. Players can complete married quests together up to 10 a day. Players get a special tree that can be harvested twice a day and watered every hour.
